At eight years old, an ideal Sunday meant Mom taking me to open houses around our Southern California neighborhood. After each walk-through, we would climb back into the car and discuss. What we liked. What we would change. Sometimes I would bring my notebook – making detailed lists of paint colors, furniture arrangements and staging ideas.
Now it’s a few decades later and nothing’s changed – still carrying that strong conviction which started at eight – that every home has a story to tell and the potential to be absolutely beautiful. Lucky for me, I’ve been able to turn this love of design into a career – buying and restoring old houses with the underlying theme that these renovations create homes that are loved and gathered in for years to come.
From sifting through potential distressed house purchases
To reimagining and redrafting new floor plans
To demoing drywall
To staging kitchen countertops –
I have never found anything that brings me more joy.
Thank you for allowing me to share these stories of renovation with you.
